Yesterday was our team bonding away day and I (and the rest of the team, I hope) had an excellent time. First stop was the Science Museum for some hands on fun in the “On Air” radio studio area and then a quiz and fun throughout the rest of the museum. An excellent lunch in the Deep Blue Cafe (ground floor) was followed by a brief meeting (I had to keep things tenuously work related) and then we headed next door for a brief visit to the Natural History Museum to see the dinosaurs.
I love both museums having visited fairly frequently as a child and it was fun to show them to other people, especially when I found out that some of the team had never seen the huge Diplodicus that stands in the main hall of the museum. I also found out that this dino is celebrating 100 years at the museum, so happy birthday to him!
Can’t believe old ‘Dino’ is still there!
Our awaydays used to in some dodgy conference room somewhere… now we know where our TV license money goes! 😉
Cheeky – why do you think we were at a free museum in London? A completely free away day and if you saw the prices of buying in refreshments for internal meetings you’d be proud of me LOL!
Besides I want my team to like me :o)
